About

Zaamin, meaning Guarantor, began a passion project that hails from the cultural heart of androon Lahore. I find inspiration in the city's enchanting Darbars and Mazars, infusing each handcrafted piece with the essence of our beloved city. I hold a deep-rooted connection with steles, also known as "Taweez," which have a significant place in subcontinental culture.

I primarily work with brass as the base metal, using conventional, traditional jewellery-making techniques. Zaamin is crafted in collaboration with a small group of freelance artisans; each trained in traditional methods. This intentional way of working allows every piece to be made with care, patience, and respect for the craft.

Zaamin is not about scale or mass production. Most pieces are made in limited quantities, allowing them to remain thoughtful, personal, and rare. Each creation holds a story of Lahore, of belief, of hands that shape metal with purpose, and of traditions that continue to live through design. As you adorn yourself with Zaamin's jewelry, you become a guardian of its cultural legacy and a partaker in its sacredness.
